With this area only being a couple hours from Farmington it is a great area to go camping. There is so much to explore in this area and the history speaks for itself. You can find ruins littered through the hills of this area. Hotel rock has an awesome set of ruins at the end of the trail. If you decide to continue past those ruins you can do a hike to Lewis Lodges. It is a hike with some difficulty and exposure.
